Muhammad Bajwa, MD
Internal Medicine Physician
Dr. Muhammad Bajwa is a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts. He strives to provide compassionate patient care in a comprehensive and effective way.
Dr. Bajwa spent 3 years in Harvard-associated hospitals (Mass General Hospital, Joslin Diabetes Center, and Beth Israel Medical Center) doing clinical research in Cardiovascular Disease and Diabetes. He obtained his Research Fellowship from Joslin Diabetes Center, Boston MA in 2011.
He continued his career with internal medicine training at Good Samaritan Hospital, University of Cincinnati, OH. He completed his residency in 2015 and moved to Rhode Island Hospital as a teaching attending in the Department of Medicine at Brown University.
Dr. Bajwa is married with 2 daughters, and loves to travel during his time off.
Sam Kang, PA-C
Before joining Acton Urgent Care, Sam Kang worked for 3 years as an Ophthalmology Technician specializing in retinal surgery, as well as 2 months in Cardiothoracic Surgery as a Physician Assistant. He earned his B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at Georgia State University and completed his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies at Northeastern University.
Sam has a special interest in sports-related injuries stemming from his own personal injuries. Through his personal experience with injury, he is able to put himself in the patient’s shoes and be a more empathetic clinician. He was inspired to pursue the medical field based on his interactions with his providers, and hopes to inspire future clinicians as well.
In his free time, Sam enjoys basketball, volleyball, bowling, rock climbing, or any activity that pushes him. Having been a competitive swimmer throughout college, swimming is Sam’s stress reliever and go-to physical activity. He also loves food, video games, movies, and spending time with his girlfriend.
