How a visit works
- Walk in, or hold a spot onlineCome to either clinic during open hours, or use Reserve my spot first. Walk-ins and reserved patients move through the same queue.
- Check in at the front deskBring a photo ID and your insurance card. Registration takes a few minutes, and our staff will tell you what your visit is likely to cost before you are seen.
- See a providerA physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant examines you and orders any testing — X-ray, EKG, rapid tests and labs are all here in the building.
- Leave with a planYou go home with a diagnosis, prescriptions sent to your pharmacy, written instructions, and a visit summary in your portal. With your permission we notify your primary care doctor.

Urgent care is not the right place for a life-threatening problem. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department for any of these:
- Chest pain, pressure, or tightness
- Trouble breathing or shortness of breath at rest
- Sudden weakness, numbness, facial droop, or trouble speaking
- Heavy bleeding that does not slow with firm pressure
- A head injury with confusion, repeated vomiting, or loss of consciousness
- A seizure, or fainting without a clear cause
- Severe abdominal pain, or a stiff neck with fever
- Thoughts of harming yourself
Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
No. Both clinics are walk-in during all open hours. You can also reserve a time with the Reserve my spot button if you would rather hold a spot, and we see reserved patients and walk-ins in the same flow.
What are your hours?
Both clinics are open 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday. Acton is open 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Canton is open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Do you treat children?
Yes. We care for infants, children, and adults at both locations.
What should I bring?
A photo ID, your insurance card, a list of the medications you take, and your pharmacy’s name and location. If the visit is for a child, please bring a parent or guardian or written consent.
How long will I wait?
Most visits are finished well inside an hour. Wait times are longest on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, and shortest in the mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
Will you send a report to my regular doctor?
Yes, with your permission we send a visit summary to your primary care provider, and your record is available to you in the patient portal.
